Instant beehive!

Hey guys hope your all good today!

So after purchasing bumpits a while ago I was quite dissappointed with them as I just didn't find them natural looking. I came accross the instant beehive and decided to buy me an instan Amy W look, heres what it looks like,

so yeah its looks rather interesting, basically its a bundle of synthetic hair in a hair net and here is my results,

Please excuse the mess in the background. Well I was actually very pleased with my results and what I like so much about this beehive is that you can make it as big or  as small as you like. I also like the fact that i didn't have to back comb my hair. To me its looks natural compared to the bumpits and at only £5 it was somewhat cheaper. I hope you like it and if your like me and like height at the front of your hair this is your perfect purchase!

Mucho Luv x x x x

My new makeup for march!

Hey there! I would like to apologise for not posting recently, my excuses are that I have been super busy in work and I have been doing a bit of DIY around the house.

Anyway back to the title. This is just a little post about my recent makeup purchases whilst I went on a wee weekend break to Newcastle with my boyfriend!

Yes I know its not much but its things that I have wanted for a while, they are vanilla pigment, creme blush in pixie and lustreglass in pinkarrot LUV them all this is them on my hand,,

Apologies for how bad my camera is don't know whats wrong with it (probably been dropped too much). Along with these purchases I also got my HG foundation (studio fix fluid NC40) and two brushes for my foundation and creme blush they were 116 and 187 and I cant stress how good an investment they are.

When I got home I decided to go onto eBay to purchase a 120 pallet (I think it was around £14 ) and this is what it looks like,

I luv luv luv!!!!! As you can see there is a wide selection of colours and they are so easy to apply. With some eye shadow's that I have bought in the past I have been disappointed with there application as it would take ages to get the desired effect (meaning it was taking me ages to get the colour on my eyes that was actually in the tub) With this pallet the colour you see is what you get its brilliant. Affordable and great to use.

Has anyone got one of these fantastic pallets? If so whats your thoughts or if not would consider buying?

much luv x x

L'Oreal primer

Since my first visit to the MAC counter I have used a primer under my make up and tend to find that my make up doesn't go on properly unless I use it! However I decided to try something other than macs primer for a wee change and ended up at the L'Oreal Studio Secrets counter ( you will usually find it in a different location to your usual L'Oreal counter) .

This is the primer I picked up,

This primer is the anti-shine one as I can be prone to shiny skin. I find the feel of this primer on my skin amazing as it's so soft and smooth thus helping you get a very even finish to your foundation. I also find that I use less foundation as it spreads very easily and an extra bonus I have reduced the amount of times that I top up my make up. Your foundation sticks to it really well without clumping ( my b/f laughs at me as I call my primer my foundation glue )and I cannot stress how even it looks .

What I also love about this range is that they have loads of primers for different types of skin, including a primer for dull skin and skin that is prone to redness. The list doesn't end there so hopefully there is a primer that will suit your skin type. I purchased my primer from boots as they have a special offer on it saving you £2 so it's only costing you £7.99.Well worth the money i think! Hopefully it will work as well for you. much luv ♥

My weekly lush visit!

The other day i decided to do my usual nosey around lush and decided to finally give into curiosity and try the shampoo bars! As usual i ended up walking away with more than i had intended to buy ! After buying a few bath melts for my mum and couple of girls in my work i asked the girl in the shop to explain a few of the shampoos to me. I ended up with seanik and ultimate shine.

The bars above are the ultimate shine bars. These bars are for making your hair really soft and shiny and they also make your hair smell really good. I was a little bit confused as to how to use them however I was told to rub the bar in my hands (like a bar of soap) and to my amazement within seconds there was a creamy thick lather in my hands. When applying it to my hair the smell was amazing with one of the ingredients being ylang ylang. After rinsing and drying my hair it felt squeaky clean which was amazing as I use quite a lot of products in my hair and not all shampoos give me this clean feeling. It felt as though all the gunk that was in my hair was gone and all I was left with was squeaky clean, super soft and super shiny hair. Brilliant!

The picture above is the Seanik bars. These bars are intended for really big volume hair and also to make your hair smooth. The ingredients in this bar are seaweed and sea salt there is also lemon juice in them to give your hair a nice smell and to make it shiny! After my mum trying this bar she confirmed that just like the ultimate shine bar it makes your hair shiny and product free, however when you lather the bar in your hands its quite rough due to the salt. After drying her hair she found that her hair did have body in it however she did have to use products in order to get the volume she was after.

From the feedback my mum gave me in comparison to mine i would say that I could definitely recommend the ultimate shine bar. However after I use this bar I will be trying other ones to see which one suits my hair the best. Just a reminder if you do buy the shampoo bars to take them out of the shower so that they last you longer and don't melt away!

Also on my travels i picked up the valentine limited edition mushroom.

These magic little red and white mushrooms smell amazing. The scent of strawberry and vanilla is so girly and relaxing. After popping it in the bath it slowly melted away leaving my bath water bright red with white bubbles floating on the top the smell was so amazing I couldn't wait to sink into the bath and enjoy the aroma. I was slightly scared that my skin or my bath may turn red but after draining the water i found that neither of the above happened and all I was left with was silky soft skin. All I can say is stock up on them As they are only a valentines special! x x x

Coralista crush!

I recently discovered that I have a crush on benefits Coralista blush! I have been using this product since it came out and instantly loved its natural pink colour. I find that this blush goes on really easily and adds a slight highlight to your cheeks with its subtle shimmer. What i also love about this product is it's smell. Yes I know you may not smell anything when you open the box however when you brush it along your cheeks you get a faint smell of sweeties, an added bonus to your purchase. I can truly recommend this product and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

Beauty Rush ♥

One of my fav things about going to America is my visits into victoria's secret (the beauty section that is). They have an amazing range of perfumes, moisturisers make up body sprays ect... anything you would probably find in the bodyshop although i think victoria's secret is just that we bit better as there is more selection!

They have loads of different ranges and scents and my fav has to be the beauty rush range! Here are a few of my fav moisturisers!

These 2 little pots are the body souffle moisture cream in juiced berry and coconut craze. They are a very light weight moisturiser that leave your skin feeling hydrated with a healthy glow Juiced berry is very sweet and fruity ( my b/f tends to say I smell like sweeties when i wear it). The coconut one smells like a bounty bar minus the chocolate.

This moisturiser is the body glimmer swirl cream in appletini. The best way to describe this scent is the DKNY be delicious perfume. This product is brilliant if your going on a night out or if you feel like just adding a bit of sparkle. It also has vitamin E and shea butter in it making your skin ultra smooth. The sparkle is not very heavy so its perfect for adding that subtle shimmer. I'm afraid i don't have any pictures of it on my skin it wasn't showing up very well!

Next on my list is my body drink lotion in Honey Do. Apart from stating the obvious it does smell like honey although there is a hint of melon in it. This moisturiser is amazing and during these cold months my skin has been very thankful to the amazing conditioners in it.There is nothing better than having supersoft skin! This bottle is in the picture at the top, it's the tall pale green one!

For those of you who don't really have time to moisturise like myself when i'm running late for work I tend to use this...

This is body double mist in Juiced berry (Can you tell its my favourite scent?) This is a quick and easy way to moisturise and get your skin smelling great! When the bottle has been sitting for a while you can see the two liquids separate inside all you need to do is give it a shake spray it on and rub in gentle, Easy as 1..,2..,3.. and your skin will feel great and you will smell gorgeous!

Finally I'm going to talk about my lip gloss collection! ( I have a small army of these)....

The 5 that you see above are my favourites and i have loads of the same colours I will start from left to right,

♥ Hot Cocoanut- This is a sort a brown colour with a lot of gold sparkle through it and yeah you guessed it it smells like chocolate with a hint of coconut.

♥Slice of heaven- This gloss smells what i can only describe as a vanilla cake really sweet and smells good enough to eat

♥ Bubble it up- This one is Amazing! Yes its smells like hubba bubba its absolutely delicious and has a cute girly pink shimmer through it.

♥ I want candy- I think this one smells like starburst ( Opal fruits as i like to call them) This one doesn't really have a shimmer through it its mostly just a nice rose glow to your lips.

♥ Tropical- This one i think smells like play dough or how i remember it to smell when i was a child! I personally don't think this one smells like you think it would although it is still nice. Out of all the glosses this one gives you the most colour giving you quite a deep pink shade on you lips.

I feel that most of the glosses don't really have a lot of colour to them however if you are looking for a natural shine with a slight hint of colour these are for you.Apart from smelling amazing they last quite a long time

Anyway That's all i have left on my beauty rush collection all of there beauty rush collection can be found on the Victoria's secret website, hope this was helpful. Mucho luv x x ♥
